The 2013 Cadillac XTS is the luxury brand’s first new model in three years, replacing the STS and the DTS.
The XTS is a classic large luxury sedan and the biggest sedan currently offered by Cadillac. The trunk is a spacious 18 cubic feet, and the rear seat has forty inches of leg room.
For a large car, it gets good gas mileage, estimated at 21 mpg. It has a 3.6 liter engine and has 304 horsepower, so there is plenty get-up-and-go under the hood. The XTS is offered with either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.
The vehicle boasts the new Cadillac User Experience, or CUE. This technology involves touchscreen technology and controls everything from the sound system to the heating. The core of the system is in the middle of the dashboard and complements the entire sleek interior design.
This slick style doesn’t skimp on safety. The XTS has ten airbags and creative safety features like the Safety Alert Seat. For example, if the driver is in reverse and about to hit something, the driver seat will vibrate on the side where the collision may occur. No more annoying beeps or pings when the driver is about to back into something!
