Funny guy Adam Sandler is usually spotted around L.A. in his Cadillac DTS. Sandler was recently spotted out on the town with his family in his new Cadillac Hybrid instead. It seems as though Sandler has a devotion to the Cadillac brand, and who can blame him? After all, Cadillac offers some of the best vehicles on the road these days. Not only does Cadillac’s vehicles look great, but they are highly efficient and accommodating. If you don’t believe me, just wait until the next crop of Cadillacs reach the road. Their fuel economy alone will be worth the purchase.
It seems as though Sandler is content with his rides and his Cadillac Hybrid Escalade. With the high gas prices, the Hybrid Escalade is the way to go if you want to drive around in a larger vehicle. The Hybrid Escalade has a fuel tank capacity of 25 gallons and can get up to 23 miles to the gallon on the highway and 20 miles in the city. That beats running around town burning up gas and only getting 15-17 miles to the gallon in other SUVs. The Cadillac Hybrid Escalade has a Hybrid 6.0L V8 under the hood that can push out a strong 332 horsepower and 367 foot pounds of torque. To help with even greater fuel efficiency is the Hybrid’s sequential fuel injection that gives the Hybrid Escalade power when it needs it most and also conserves fuel when the Hybrid Escalade is running in lower RPMs.

Chevrolet is looking to upgrade the engine and horsepower under the hood of their Impala. The engine they are going to add to the 2012 Impala is the current engine in the Chevy Camaro. The new engine is a 3.6L V6 VVT that can put out more power than ever before. The 3.6L engine is also currently used in the Buick Lacrosse and puts out 280 horsepower, but in the upcoming 2012 Impala, the 3.6L engine will put out 302 horsepower and 252 lbs.-ft. of torque.
The 3.6L engine is an upgrade over the 3.5L engine and will offer more power over the 3.9L engine that is currently under the hood of the Impala. This size reduction (or size gain depending on which model) is vital and will make the Impala a great vehicle option for those police forces who want to opt out of getting the new Caprice model.
As far as major changes goes for the Impala, the engine is the biggest, seeing as how the Impala has already undergone a major transformation over the years since 2006. With these changes though, many fans and car enthusiasts are hoping that the Impala will re-ignite its feud with the Dodge Charger in the years to come.

If you like speed and fast cars, you will like this video without a doubt.
There are a few things I like about this video; the first thing is just the sheer adrenaline rush you get from watching something like this. It puts you right in the action just inches above the fast moving pavement and thrusts you around every corner of the track. The second thing I like about this particular video is that it has commentary not just from one driver’s perspective, but also from the driver of the vehicle in front of the camera as well. It adds a nice bit of informational depth as to what goes through the mind of a driver racing around a track at speeds over 150 mph just to brake hard and accelerate around the turn.
The car that the ride along camera was mounted on was a Cadillac CTS-V. This brings me to my third favorite thing about this video, the car. Cadillac just recently got back into competitive racing with the CTS-V being their go-to car of choice to race head to head with other top cars around the world.
The Cadillac CTS-V you see here in the video can produce up to 556 horses. If you want the CTS-V Coupe for yourself don’t worry, it too comes with 556 horses and has 551 Ibs.-ft. of torque. If you are curious as to what type of engine lies under this slick but power ride, the CTS-V Coupe is equipped with a 6.2L V8 engine along with a 6 speed manual transmission to give you complete control.

The 2011 Chevrolet Corvette is one mean machine with its 6.2L LS3 aluminum block V8 capable of 430 horsepower and 424 foot pounds of torque. The transmission is a six speed manual with overdrive and has two different manual settings on the Magnetic Selective Ride Control System for greater control for twisting turns and the open roads.
But what sets the 2011 Corvette even farther apart from its competitors is its available launch control system. The launch control system is designed for those people who love to compete in club sanctioned closed-course track events. The launch control system works as followed; when the Corvette is at a dead stop, all the driver has to do is put the gas peddle to the floor and then the Corvette sets the engine speed to a specific predetermined launch RPM. Then all the driver has to do is remove their foot off the clutch quickly and get ready for takeoff while the car handles the acceleration. The Corvette’s computer then modulates the torque of the engine 100 times each second to give the driver maximum acceleration performance. On the test track, the Corvette reached speeds up to 190 MPH, which is feat that can be added to the Corvette’s already impressive resume.
Chevrolet knows that Corvette lovers and owners like to personalize their Corvette to fit their own individual styles and tastes. That’s why the Chevrolet Corvette comes with the availability of over 50 dealer installed Genuine Corvette Accessories. These accessories have one thing in common, to make your Corvette unique.
The 2011 Chevrolet Corvette comes with a six month trial to OnStar’s Directions and Connections plan. For more information on the 2011 Chevrolet Corvette, please call (800) 836-0972 or stop by Les Stanford Chevrolet Cadillac to test drive one today!
All it takes is one look, and you immediately know what a Chevrolet Corvette is. Its unmistakable design cannot be confused with any other vehicle on the road today. The Corvette comes equipped with a 6.2L LS3 aluminum block V8 capable of 430 horsepower and 424 foot pounds of torque, and a six speed manual transmission with overdrive. To maximize the acceleration of the Corvette, Chevrolet has installed the Launch Control feature in this beast of a machine for those competitive sanctioned sports car drivers. For superior handling and control, the Corvette has the StabiliTrack Electronic Stability Control System and Traction Control System.
Power also has to appeal to the eye, and Chevrolet does not hold anything back when it comes to the Corvette. The exterior of the Corvette offers a removable roof panel so you can have the same benefit of a convertible and let the wind rush through your hair on a nice summer day. The removable roof panel can be easily stored away in the rear cargo area. The Corvette has an available transparent roof panel if you want the open air feeling without all the wind.
Front and rear performance tires come standard on the Corvette along with aluminum wheels. If aluminum isn’t your liking for wheels, chrome wheels are available on the Chevrolet Corvette to satisfy your taste. To give the Corvette more style, a rear spoiler is available that is sure to make some heads turn when you pass by on the road. The 2011 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport is one of the coolest sports cars on the road today. The technology and engineering of the 2011 Corvette Grand Sport is outstanding. The 2011 Corvette Grand Sport is built with a LSE 6.2L aluminum block V-8 that can generate an incredible 430 horsepower. The 2011 Corvette Grand Sport has a top speed of 190mph, and it has a faster acceleration time than the Corvette Coupe or Convertible. The 2011 Corvette Grand Sport can accelerate from 0-60 in 3.95 seconds. That’s an incredibly fast and powerful sports car.
Add to this the new technological advancement of Launch Control, and you have a Corvette that has power and speed with traction and control. The Launch Control system is designed to give you the edge during competitive racing. When accelerating from a stopped position, the Launch Control system compares what kind of engine and transmission the car has with the amount of force on the pedal, and then automatically sets the engine speed to what the RPM should be to give you maximum acceleration. This system modulates the torque of the engine and transmission 100 times every second, giving the vehicle maximum acceleration and traction on take-off. All you have to do is sidestep the clutch and hang on for a wild ride.
In addition, like the Coupe and Convertible, the 2011 Corvette Grand Sport gets great gas mileage. The 2011 Corvette Coupe has an EPA estimate of 26mpg on the highway. That’s better fuel economy than some V-6 models like the Mercedes SLK350, BMW Z4, and the Porsche 911 Targa 4S. With the 2011 Corvette Grand Sport, you get a powerful sports car and great fuel economy.
