Get the Power of a 2017 Camaro Beneath Your Fingertips

2017 Chevy Camaro at Les Stanford ChevroletExcept for a brief hiatus from 2002 to 2009, the Chevrolet Camaro has been manufactured in the US since 1966. Generally, all Camaros are called sports cars and every thing is based on performance.

For 2017 Camaro has a new supercharged ZL1. The ZL1 was previously produced from 2012 to 2015. Now it returns 200 pounds lighter with 60 more horsepower and torque that is increased by 80 more ftlbs. The TDM allows parents to set specific driving controls and review the driving habits of teens or anyone else who borrows your vehicle. For instance, the audio system will stay muted until seat belts are fastened. New Camaro as Classy as the Old

2017 Chevy Camaro at Les Stanford ChevroletFor generations, the Camaro has been Chevrolet’s muscle car production line. The newest version, the 2017, is no different. Chevy considers this new line to the the sixth generation of the Camaro in production, and it really packs a punch.

The Camaro SS (Super Sport) is the higher powered version, and it clocks zero to sixty mph in 4.0 seconds. Its 455 horsepower engine revs up with the feel of the classic muscle car. It really rattles the spine in that good way. There are four different power trains to choose from if you special order your vehicle. The interior packages really shine as well.

One thing Chevrolet is really talking about in this sixth generation is how much lighter its architecture is when compared to previous versions. This provides a whole group of benefits from tighter cornering and faster braking to more responsiveness and a quicker acceleration curve. While Camaros have always been known for their swiftness off the block, this newest generation promises to be the best handling.

Chevy is also marketing the sculpted design. The designers have really focused on the aerodynamics and overall look of the vehicle. The new “reverse Mohawk” design of the roof is one example. Not only is it an aerodynamic advantage, but it also presses the car against the road for traction and gives the vehicle a cool look.
