Despite the short time frame this high quality crossover SUV will be available the Suburban boasts an impressive passenger cabin, easy to use panel and one of the best towing capacities of any vehicle in the crossover class.

Available in two models, the Suburban 1500 offers the most passenger friendly ride, without a significant reduction in towing capacity. The 5.3 liter V8 engine offers an impressive 320 horsepower and the ability to two up to 8,100 pounds. A second option, the 2500 offers a larger engine, which is a six liter V6 offering 352 horsepower.

Not only does the 2014 Suburban offer an impressive towing capacity, it also includes a good average fuel economy for the class, with the 1500 offering an EPA estimated 15 miles per gallon in the city and 21 on the highway. Fuel consumption is conserved with the cylinder deactivation system that turns off half the available cylinders to reduce fuel consumption when the vehicle is coasting or decelerating.

Comfort is an important factor in the Suburban with the crossover offering greater length and width over many of its competitors in the SUV class. A large cabin with 137.4 cubic feet of space is completed by a simple to use folding third row of seating.
