Had your eye on an Equinox LT? Here’s your chance.

The Chevrolet Equinox is a versatile crossover vehicle that combines the fuel efficiency of a sedan with the room and extras of a sport utility vehicle or van. One aspect of the 2011 Chevrolet Equinox that really sets it apart from the crowd is its fuel efficiency. The Equinox gets an impressive 32 EPA estimated miles per gallon on the highway. Let’s compare that to the rest of the pack: both the 2011 Honda CR-V and the 2011 Toyota RAV-4 get 28 EPA estimated miles per gallon on the highway. Even the 2011 Kia Sorento gets 3 EPA estimated miles per gallon less on the highway compared to the 2011 Chevrolet Equinox.

To top it all off, the 2011 Chevrolet Equinox beats a hybrid of similar proportions on fuel efficiency. The 2011 Ford Explorer Hybrid only gets 31 EPA estimated miles per gallon on the highway, which is one less than the 2011 Chevrolet Equinox. Not a big difference, but it highlights how efficient the Equinox manages to be without hybrid technologies.

One of the many small details that the 2011 Chevrolet Equinox gets right, where other vehicles fail, involves its third row of seats. These seats can move up to eight inches backwards and forwards. This allows all passengers access to excellent leg room without compromising on maximum storage space. Specifically, the 2011 Chevrolet Equinox offers those backseat passengers a stunning 39.9 inches of leg room.
