One of the reasons that I’m infatuated with the 2011 Chevrolet Volt is because it gives me so much control. This vehicle allows me to control its basic features from afar as well as switch between driving modes.
1.) If there’s one thing that I hate about a lot of modern vehicles, it’s that they don’t give me enough control. I really like that the 2011 Chevrolet Volt has multiple driving modes. Even though this is an advanced electric vehicle, you can press a couple different buttons to go into different modes. Most of the time you’ll want to keep your Volt in Normal mode, where it can maximize efficiency and mileage. The 2011 Chevy Volt also gives you access to a Sport mode and a Mountain mode, for when you need a little more from your car. Sport mode gives you the acceleration and control you may want at times, while Mountain mode forces the Volt to keep the necessary power reserve for climbing steep roads.
2.) Another exceptional way that the 2011 Chevrolet Volt can be controlled by its owner or driver is with the MyChevrolet mobile app. This app allows you to unlock your vehicle, turn it on or off, and even activate the air conditioning. I think that this is a significant upgrade over the old fashioned remote that many car manufacturers produce for their vehicles. Just think, not only can you unlock your Volt with your phone when you approach it, you can make sure your car is locked and off from anywhere in the country.
